Why should you know the Mahabharata?

All that is to be known about Dharma, Artha, Kaama, Moksha – that is found in Mahabharata is found everywhere else, that which is not found in Mahabharata, is not to be found anywhere else.
One of the greatest epics ever written, the Mahabharata, continues to intrigue, inspire and incite to this date. Yes, it does incite! It is impossible to have any ‘shanti purna’ discussion on Mahabharata because everyone has their favourite characters they feel obliged to defend. From personal relations to geo-politics, it is rare to not find a parallel in the Mahabharata, be it in terms of personalities, behaviours or events. Infact, events from Mahabharata continue to be used to develop social narratives regarding Bharat and Bharatiyas till date.
An epic of such profund connect and impact, it is important to get the itihasa right, that which has come to use from the guru parampara starting from Rishi Krishna Dwaipayana Vyasa. Join Ami Ganatra to study this great itihasa right and learn lessons for your own life.
